i was in a place where i was really happy with how i was eating: i was trying new things, i was eating sooo many vegetables, i was eating actual meals instead of just snacking throughout the day.... and then i had to go and get a fucking ulcer and now i'm on a bland food diet for the next 8 weeks and i can barely eat anything without getting sick and feeling insane amounts of pain and i miss so many foods. god i miss so many foods

Belgian Waffles

First try (8/28/2024):

Biting into this glorious breakfast delicacy for the first time tasted like pure joy. Like unfiltered nostalgia, memories of when things were better. They weren’t dry without syrup, the moisture levels were perfect. However they could have used more powdered sugar. These waffles were so fluffy it was like biting into a cloud on a beautiful summers day. It should be noted that the strawberries should be eaten first when they’re still cold. Overall extremely enjoyable, 9/10

UPDATE ON THE WAFFLE (9/4/2024):

THE MILK USED IN THIS BATCH WAS SOUR AND THEREFORE MADE THE WAFFLES SOUR AND DISGUSTING. ABHORRENT EXPERIENCE WILL NEVER BUY THEM AGAIN. WE BOUGHT 2 SEPARATE WAFFLES THINKING THEY WOULD BE DELICIOUS LIKE LAST TIME BUT THEY WERE GUT WRENCHING. 1/10
